The Sonic Jets is an Inline Speed Skating Team that was formed in 2005 and since then has grown to over 100 members, all ages and skill levels.

This year, the team is being coached by Ross Carson and Seth Schwind. Ross is a 2005 National Inline Speed Skating Champion with 20 years of competitive speed skating experience. Seth is a 2000 Indoor National Champion and a member of the World Team in 2001 and 2002. Seth has been skating competitively for 11 years.

In the January 20th, 2008 race, Sonic Skate took the team Championship. The January race was held here at Sonic Skate and many Sonic Skaters finished in the top four in their age groups.

The Sonic Jets Speed Skating Team is supported through sponsorship by Hooters, Firehouse Car Wash, Shirts, Mugs & More, Millar’s Appliance, Mike’s Custom Tile, Clements Contracting and Bosco Food Service.
